Head of Sales – SaaS

£70,000 - £80,000 Basic Salary + Commission + Benefits

Erik James are very pleased to partner with an award-winning, young, fast-growing SaaS company, backed by notable investors, with huge ambitions for the future. Our client, based in Old Street, provides a powerful platform that allows for real-time employee engagement; a platform which gives individuals a voice. A dynamic and disruptive company, our client partner with the likes of Sainsbury’s, British Airways, and Virgin Trains – and are currently looking to recruit a Sales Leader / Head of Sales to lead the sales team.


Our client’s platform allows a company’s frontline to generate cost-savings, spot opportunities for revenue, create an ethos of continual improvement and give employees a say. We are currently looking for a Head of Sales to continue to build out our client’s team in London. A proven track record of successful, sales leadership ideally within the SaaS subscription space is who we are eager to speak with – you will be a smart, entrepreneurial ‘coach’ with a deep understanding of B2B sales methodology.


  • As the Head of Sales you will be responsible for hitting growth targets and have overall responsibility for revenue
  • You will coach and lead a team of high-performing new business Account Executives, Sales Development Representatives, and Customer Success Executives (team size between 7-10 direct reports)
  • You will inspire and mentor the group; assisting on deal and pipeline management, set regular goals and also ensure the business continues operating with a positive, collaborative, and competitive working culture
  • Work closely with the CEO and CMO, providing regular forecast updates as well as having a large say in the business’ strategic goals, product development, and growth ambitions


  • You will have experience within the SaaS technology space as a Sales Manager, Head of Sales or Sales Director; and be looking to progress your career and join a high-growth disruptor
  • Demonstrable experience in ‘coaching’ and developing sales people to succeed
  • Deep understanding of B2B sales, ideally selling a technology solution into FTSE 250 organisations (enterprise level SaaS subscription sales cycle understanding preferable)
  • An energetic, consultative, and impactful new business mindset
  • Proven track record of over-achieving quota while working and excelling in fast-paced environments
  • Experience managing & closing complex sales-cycles from initiation to close
  • A team player who brings people with them
