Head of Sales – Influencer Marketing

£80,000 Basic Salary + Double OTE

Erik James are very pleased to partner with a leading influencer marketing technology business, based in Old Street. With offices in Stockholm, New York, Los Angeles, and London – we are hiring for an experienced Head of Sales to join and lead their small and high-growth London team. You will help to meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping the company competitive and innovative – leading from the front and continuing to do exceptional work with the world’s largest brands. Our client are a influencer-tech business, a true innovator in the space with a cutting-edge product suite, allowing for huge-scale campaigns with brands like Ralph Lauren, Google, Absolut, Spotify, Starbucks and many more. 

 

As the Head of Sales, you’ll be responsible for setting the UK and European strategic goals, in conjunction with the CEO and Group Commercial Director. You will ensure the UK business grows and hits targets, by successfully managing the sales team. You will also remain client-facing yourself, pitching and winning big-ticket campaigns with globally recognised brands.

 

The right person for this role understands effective sales leadership within a high growth tech business, AND ideally will have experience within digital/creative marketing/advertising technology/marketing technology industries. Much of our client’s work is bespoke and conceptual – rather than ‘off-the-shelf’ product selling.

 

The role: 

 

  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands our client’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Establish a strong relationship with potential clients and internal stakeholders to grow new business
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status

 

Who you are:

 

  • 5+ years’ experience in strategic marketing and advertising sales
  • Strong people management skills – previous leadership experience involving mentoring and coaching a team
  • Proven track record of consistently hitting or exceeding sales targets as a sales representative or sales manager
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Experience leading a consultative sales process
  • A natural problem solver and have a creative and fearless approach to solving and helping clients with their headaches
  • You have an insatiable curiosity and knowledge about all things regarding sales, marketing, tech, and social media
