Head of Account Management

£60,000 - £80,000 Basic Salary + Commission

Our client has developed a graduate career app that is disrupting the recruitment industry. Their platform helps students find jobs and enables companies to access the right talent wherever it is. Launched just over a year ago, they are now used and trusted by over 50 blue-chip companies like Microsoft, L’Oreal, Vodafone, Citibank, EY and more.

The team is now 21-people strong and we are looking to add a key new member to manage a team of 6 Account Managers and onboard, renew and retain our clients. You’ll be responsible for the management of the accounts to ensure their success on the platform and their renewals the following year.

You will have full responsibility for your sales pipeline and clients’ performance, so you’ll need to be a self-starter but equally able to work in a collaborative start-up team where your experiences, your effort, and ideas will matter. You’re relaxed yet professional, eloquent yet casual, and pleasant yet persuasive. Managing the team of Account Managers is an important part of this job as together you will be responsible for a six-figure portfolio.

What you’ll do:
Meet all clients regularly to ensure client success and satisfaction

Develop approaches for each client based on their specific needsManage your accounts and develop them to their full potential

Drive success and efficiency through the Account Management team

Help in the development of our value proposition as a key conduit of ideas and feedback from our clients
Be a humble and level-headed advocate, always acting in the best interest of each client

What you’ll need to have:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experienceProven success in and Account Management

Proven success in managing a team

Candidates from Technology, Digital, FMCG, Services, Media sectors among others are encouraged to apply

SaaS experience is a bonus

Strong networking and business development skills

Ability to maintain accurate documentation in a web-based CRMSuperior attention to detailExcellent written and oral communication skills
