Account Director – Digital (Brighton)

£45,000 Basic Salary + Bonus + Benefits

Our client is a leading UK-based digital marketing solutions provider, who specialise in helping clients get the very best from their campaigns. Championing a simple, results-driven approach, the business offer an unrivalled service to over 1,400 customers from a variety of different sectors.

Due to 2017 success and growth plans for 2018, our client seek an Account Director to maintain and grow key strategic customer relationships. You will become a trusted advisor to an existing account base, regularly delivering on up-sell opportunities as well as playing a role in helping to mentor the Customer Success team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver digital marketing consultancy and account management to a portfolio of customers.
  • Build lasting relationships with multiple decision makers and stakeholders.
  • Deliver actionable insight on accounts, regularly conducting account reviews.
  • Retain and grow revenues via up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Remain the strategic ‘face’ for our client’s suite of products
  • Reporting into the Customer Success Director, play an important role in the mentoring of the wider Customer Success and Sales department.
  • Hit monthly targets and KPIs.

Location: predominantly based from our client’s head office in Brighton, UK (the role will be client facing, visiting customers throughout the UK).

Personal specification/characteristics:

Essential:

  • Track record of key account management, ideally within SaaS, digital, technology, marketing related industries.
  • Demonstratable experience of retaining, and growing revenue streams with customers.
  • Strong customer facing presentation skills; high credibility, able to consultatively position a solution and often offer a bespoke service.
  • Ideally have Key Account Management experience previously working with a small number, but high value, strategic customer base comprising of businesses within different sectors and verticals.
  • Focussed, tenacious, and driven attitude to delivering the best results for your client base.

Desirable:

  • Wider digital marketing industry knowledge.
  • Exposure to and solid understanding of email marketing processes.
